Behind every Assistance Dog is the possibility of a person with disability feeling safer, more confident and empowered to take part in the everyday moments that matter most.
Assistance Dogs Australia is a national for-purpose charity that breeds, trains and places highly skilled, accredited Assistance Dogs with Australians with physical disability, autism and PTSD. ADA’s programs also extend beyond individual placements to support emotional wellbeing, inclusion and community connection across schools and other community environments.

How you can help
Assistance Dogs Australia places dogs completely free of charge to clients across Australia. It takes two years and costs more than $60,000 to provide a qualified Assistance Dog. You can make a difference today by making a donation or registering to become a volunteer.
