What is DiscountPlus, and how do I sign up?

DiscountPlus is a loyalty program that allows you to collect points on your shop at Discount Drug Store. Collect 1 points for every $1 spent in-store and turn your points into reward dollars off your next shop.>

To sign up to DiscountPlus, follow these simple steps:

Online: Visit the Discount Drug Store website and click on the “Login/Register” button on the top right hand corner. Enter your full name, email address, mobile number  and any other required information. Provide your D.O.B so you don’t miss out on your yearly
$5 birthday voucher.

In-store: You can also sign up at any Discount Drug Store pharmacy. Simply ask a staff member for assistance, and they’ll help you create your account.

Once you sign up, you’ll collect 250 bonus points to use on your next shop.*

To collect DiscountPlus points, provide your membership details at check out in-store to collect and redeem points.

Is there a cost to join the DiscountPlus program?

DiscountPlusTM membership is free to join. You can join DiscountPlusTM in-store or online.

How can I earn points with DiscountPlus?

You can collect points with DiscountPlus by making purchases in-store and online. For every $1 spent, you’ll collect 5 points (excluding prescriptions).

Here’s how to maximise your points:

Shop regularly: Every eligible item you purchase adds points to your balance.
Bonus points offers: Keep an eye out for monthly bonus point promotions to collect extra points on selected products.

To collect DiscountPlus points, provide your membership details at check out in-store to collect and redeem points.

What can I redeem my points for?

You can turn your DiscountPlus points into rewards dollars off your next shop in-store.> For example, for every 500 points you collect can be converted to $5 off your next shop.

Do my DiscountPlus points expire?

Yes, your DiscountPlus points do expire. Points are valid for 24 months from the date they are collected. Be sure to use them before they expire to get the most out of your rewards!

How can I check my DiscountPlus points balance?

You can check your DiscountPlus points balance by:

Online: Log into your Amcal Rewards account on https://www.amcal.com.au/loyalty/ to view your points balance.

In-store: Ask a staff member in-store to check your points balance for you.

Receipt: Your points balance is shown on your receipt after making a purchase. 

Can I collect points when shopping online at DiscountPlus?

No, DiscountPlus points can only be collected in-store. 

How do I update my personal details or account information for DiscountPlus?

To update your personal details for DiscountPlus, such as your email address or contact number, please reach out to the Loyalty Marketing Team at Sigma Healthcare. You can contact them by email at: loyalty@sigmahealthcare.com.au
They will assist you in updating your details.

Enrolment
– By signing an application form or using a DiscountPlus™ Card, each applicant or member (each a “Member”) accepts and agrees to be bound by these DiscountPlus™ Terms & Conditions applicable from time to time.
– The DiscountPlus™ Card is valid at any participating Discount Drug Store (“participating Discount Drug Store”). Your Home Store will be designated as the Discount Drug Store at which you joined DiscountPlus™. You may alter your Home Store at any time via the DiscountPlus™ Support team.
– The DiscountPlus™ Card is not a credit or charge card, is not transferable, and remains the property of Sigma.

Earning Points
– Members will earn points on all purchases they make at any participating Discount Drug Store except ‘Excluded Items’.
– Excluded Items include prescription products, products advertised as being excluded, and products where the granting of points are otherwise prohibited by law. Members will receive 1 point for every $1.00 spent on non-Excluded Items. Bonus points may be offered from time to time at Sigma’s absolute discretion.
– If you do not have your DiscountPlus™ Card with you at the time of purchase, you can return to the point of purchase within 30 days with a copy of your receipt and your DiscountPlus™ Card and the points will be credited to your account.

Redeeming Points
– Members will be eligible to redeem their points to pay for the whole or part of any purchase (except Excluded Items) at any participating Discount Drug Store when that Member has an accumulated minimum balance of 250 points.
– When redeeming in-store, Members will receive a discount of $0.01 off the current transaction for every 1 point redeemed (e.g. 100 points redeemed = $1.00 off). Redemptions can only be processed in multiples of $0.01.
– Subject to anything else contained herein, unused points will expire 2 years after the date on which they were earned.

General Conditions
– To the extent permitted by law, Sigma or any participating Discount Drug Store will not be liable for any errors, omissions, delays, or disruptions in the operation of the DiscountPlus™ program and will not be liable for any loss caused by any such errors, omissions, delays or disruptions.
– Sigma or any participating Discount Drug Store will not allow redemption of any points that have been credited to a Member in error or which relate to a purchase by a Member that is subsequently canceled or reversed or where a refund is given. Any points that have been credited to a Member in error may be subsequently deducted from the Member’s account. This decision is at the discretion of Sigma. No discussion will be entered into.
– Members can view information about all points they have earned and redeemed on the Discount Drug Stores website (www.discountdrugstores.com.au).
– By using the DiscountPlus™ Card, each Member agrees to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information in accordance with Sigma’s privacy policy available at www.discountdrugstores.com.au/privacy-policy.
– Members must promptly notify a Discount Drug Store of any change of their address or if their DiscountPlus™ Card is lost or stolen. Members can also update their details on the Discount Drug Stores website (www.discountdrugstores.com.au). Sigma or any participating Discount Drug Store is not liable for any delay in providing or replacing the DiscountPlus™ Card or for any unauthorised use of the Card.
– Members may opt-out of communication from DiscountPlus™ by following unsubscribe links on emails or by logging into their account on the Discount Drug Stores website (www.discountdrugstores.com.au).
– Sigma may suspend or terminate the DiscountPlus™ program or a Member’s membership in the DiscountPlus™ program at any time without reason or notice.
– Sigma reserves the right to suspend, vary, alter or amend all or any part of these Terms & Conditions, or terminate the DiscountPlus™ program at its absolute discretion at any time. Sigma will not be liable for any loss or damage that may arise from any suspension or termination. Sigma will use its best endeavours to notify Members of any replacement or amendment but will not be liable if it does not.
– No Discount Drug Store has the authority, express or implied, to make any representation, warranty, or statement on behalf of Sigma or in relation to the DiscountPlus™ program and Sigma accepts no liability in respect of any representation, warranty, or statement made by any Discount Drug Store.
– All conditions and warranties, whether express or implied and whether arising under statute or otherwise, as to the condition, suitability, quality, fitness, or safety of any goods or services supplied by any participating Discount Drug Store are expressly excluded to the full extent permitted by law.
– DiscountPlus™ is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Sigma reserves the right to vary, alter or amend all or any part of its Privacy Policy from time to time, at its absolute discretion.
We may disclose your information (including personal information) to our Related Bodies Corporate (as defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)) with our corporate group for business purposes, the purposes of operating a loyalty program, and marketing or remarketing purposes through our websites, social media channels or other marketing medium.
