COLOXYL with SENNA is a dual action formula providing constipation relief that starts to work within 6-12 hours. The combination of two active ingredients helps make bowel movements easier by both softening stools and stimulating the muscles in the bowel. It is available in easy to swallow tablets for overnight relief. And it is suitable for use in adults and children 12 years and over, including those who take constipation-inducing medications, such as opioids. Check with your doctor or pharmacist, if using in conjunction with opioids.
| Warnings | Not recommended for use in children under 12 years. Drink plenty of water. Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting is present, or if you develop diarrhoea. Do not take with other medicines or liquid paraffin, unless advised by a doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, seek the advice of a healthcare professional before taking this product. Increase fibre in your diet except in cases of medication-induced constipation. If symptoms persist, seek advice from a health care practitioner. Prolonged use is not recommended and may lead to dependence or serious bowel problems. Do not use if cap seal is broken or missing. |
