Neocate LCP infant formula is based on hypoallergenic amino acids, formulated without cows’ milk protein. It is suitable as a sole source of nutrition for infants from birth to 12 months of age with confirmed cows’ milk protein allergy, multiple food protein allergies, eosinophilic oesophagitis and/or other indications where an amino acid-based formula may be indicated.<br /><br /><strong>Not suitable for general use. Must be used under medical supervision.</strong><br /><br />* Available on PBS.

It is suitable as a sole nutrition for infants from birth to 12 months of age.Important notice: Not suitable for general use. Must be used under medical supervision, after full consideration of all the feeding options, including breastfeeding; the financial and social implications of all feeding options should also be considered before commencing Neocate LCP.For oral and tube feeding only: if using as a tube feed, hang time should not exceed 4 hours. Not for intravenous (parenteral) use. Important Notice: Powdered infant formula is not sterile. Infant formula should be prepared immediately prior to feeding. Formula should not be warmed for longer than 15 minutes prior to feeding. Do not boil prepared formula and do not use a microwave to prepare or warm formula.Note: Infants over 6 months should be offered foods in addition to infant formula. Dental hygiene: Prolonged or frequent contact of drinks and feeds with teeth increases the risk of tooth decay. Make sure your baby's teeth are cleaned after the last feed at night. |
