Viclofen Gel is a Diclofenac sodium 10 mg/g (1% w/w) gel for temporary relief from sprains, strains and sports injuries.
Product Information
Short Term (up to 2 weeks) local symptomatic treatment of the following musculoskeletal inflammatory conditions: a) Acute soft tissue injuries, including <br/>sprains, tendinitis and sports injury. b) Localised forms of soft tissue rheumatism e.g. tendinitis and bursitis.
| Warnings | Do not use: • In children under 12 years • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding • In the last 3 months of pregnancy • If you have a stomach ulcer • If you are allergic to diclofenac or anti-inflammatory medicines • On open wounds or injuries or on skin that has a rash or infection • On large areas of skin or for long periods of time • Under airtight or plastic bandagesUnless a doctor has told you to, do not use: • For more than a few days at a time • With other medicines containing diclofenac, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines • With other medicines that you are taking regularly • If you have asthmaIf you get an allergic reaction, stop using tradename gel and see your doctor immediately.Do not exceed the recommended dose.Excessive use can be harmful.For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact with the eyes, rinse eyes thoroughly with clean water and see your doctor.Contains isopropyl alcohol as a preservative. |
